My second First Birthday Party

This time, the party was all for me! We had friends and family over for a little lunch, hanging out in the backyard, cake (which had my name on it!) and presents. I really liked all of the balloons - and so did the other kids. They played with them outside and inside and enjoyed running and hollering all over the place!

My Papa made me a little stool - just my size! Everyone helped me get into the packages and bags and played with all the great toys!

My cousins Sadie and Andrew gave me this big bear towel, but I think my Mommy likes it and I hope I get to use it too!

When I got tired at the end, I blew some kisses good-bye, asked to be picked up and left the room. Thanks for coming to my party everyone!

Hippo Growth Chart

My uncle Polly came to visit when I was just two weeks old and gave me this Hippo so he could gauge how big I was growing. So - you will see my pictures each month as I grew with my hippo. I sure changed a lot over the first year!

November 2007 - I am getting quite the personality!

This one was hard to get too! Thanks for checking up on me throughout the year. It is great to have friends and family who, even though we live far away from each other, can still enjoy our lives together!

My First Birthday

My day started off right - with my favorite food - Bananas! I did go to school and then had fun when I got home, too! I got to open some presents and play! Can you believe that I am ONE?!

The first of my First Birthday Parties

While everyone was in town for Daddy's big bash, we of course had to celebrate my upcoming BIG ONE too! My cake did not turn out very well so my Mommy got a piece of cake with CHOCOLATE and a pretty Red Chile decorated on top. I wasn't so sure about this whole thing at first. People were staring at me and they put this flaming stick in front of me, but when I ventured to taste the sweetness of the gooey chocolate - I was hooked. I am already looking forward to my next birthday cake!

Surprise Happy 40th Birthday Daddy! To bring the "month of Scott" on, I kept daddy's party a secret for a long time....and he was very surprised to see everyone at the door!
